The year is 1994, and you have some weird and wonderful kei jidsha to enjoy.
DD, Track & Burn. Go!
The Suzuki Cappuccino, 63BHP 0.7 I3.
The Honda Beat, 63BHP 0.7 I3.
The Mazda Autozam AZ-1/Suzuki Cara, 63BHP 0.7 I3.
The Suzuki appeared in Initial D, the Honda was the last car Soichiro Honda oversaw and the Mazda sports amazing gull-wing doors. All of them are great fun (especially with a Hayabusa swap), you choose.

DD Cappucino because it was killer in Gran Turismo 4.
Track Beat due to F1-inspired MTREC and NA.
Burn the one everyone else will DD or Track due to a useless gimmick.

Track: Autozam AZ-1, because MR and its ugly face should never see a public road
Burn: Honda, because no City Turbo II, no deal

I refuse to follow protocol, these cars are all too happy to burn. I’d track the AZ-1 because it’s the only one with a roof, and alternate the other two as dailies, parked in the space of one normal car.

Track the Capp, DD the AZ-1 and Burn the Beat (because it’s VERY slow compared to the other two)
![]() 07/18/2016 at 17:48 |

They all have exactly the same power though.

Turbo. Massive difference. The Honda Beat is torqueless and does 0 to 60 in something like 13s while the other 2 do it in 8 to 9s. I have driven all 3 cars, the Honda Beat sounds the best but it’s all its got for itself.

Right, thanks for the clarification.
It’s awesome that you drove all three though, did you do a post on it?
![]() 07/18/2016 at 18:35 |

Nope, never wrote about it... It was more test drives than actual drives though, which is why I didn’t post about it. I needed more space so I went for the RX7 instead. Before I met her, my wife even used to DD a Cappuccino actually :)
(PS: I live in Japan, they are very common and cheap ass cars here)

Isn’t the Beat so slow, though?

well none of them are record setters. but I’m slow too, so we’ll be well matched driver to car
